The intoxicating smell of spices followed by clinking glasses draw you into Pepe Mesa Española, but the buzz in the air keeps you there long into the night. Our tapas bar and lounge channel the convivial spirit of a stylish taverna where plates of pintxos and your drink of choice are sampled over lively conversation and celebration. Meet the Chef

The gastronomic proposal of both the restaurant and the bar is in charge of chef Carlos Juárez Soto, who has a degree in Gastronomy and Culinary Arts from CESSA (Center for Higher Studies of San Ángel), and has extensive experience in restaurants and hotels in Mexico and the United States. In addition to supervising the development of culinary proposals, he has led teams of 80 collaborators around the world.
